Manuela’s VAMPYRic fangs

In September 2024, I had the mind-blowing experience of traveling to Santiago to see Manuela Infante’s VAMPYR. I have seen her work in other countries –Metamorphoses and Como Convertirse en Piedra in Kaatheater, and Fuego, fuego in Teatre Nacional de Catalunya–, but seeing it with a Chilean audience was quite special.

My brilliant friend Michael convinced me to turn my trip there into at least a review for a journal, and I am very glad I listened! This summer, my review was published in Theatre Journal. If you don’t have institutional access, please reach out so i can share my manuscript of the review!
