I was selected for the R&D Group!

The Civilians hosts an annual play development group, titled the R&D group. I was selected to be part of this year’s cohort, from a pool of over 200 applicants. You can find out more about the program here, and I have pasted the full list of participants, finalists and semifinalists below.

The play I’ll be working on, 111 Fires and 1 Flood at the Guatemalan Natural History Museum (working title) will be presented at a reading in NYC in June. It is the final instalment of my “tree-logy”, which began with my translation of Estado Vegetal by Manuela Infante (2023), and continued with the original adaptation Beto, Beto el Abeto (2023).
